BizPilot Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LogicStack ("we", "us") handles information in the BizPilot mobile app (package com.logicstack.bizpilot). BizPilot is an offline-first tool that helps small businesses manage inventory, sales, customers, expenses, and reports. By using BizPilot you agree to this policy.

The short version. BizPilot stores your business data on your device and, when you sign in, backs it up to a private cloud account that only you can access. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

1. Information we collect

a. Account information

When you create an account or sign in (email/password or Google Sign-In), we collect your email address and, if available, your name. This is handled by Google Firebase Authentication and is used solely to identify your account and sync your data across your devices.

b. Business data you enter

BizPilot stores the business records you create, including products and inventory, customers, suppliers, employees (including attendance and payroll you record), sales, quotes, expenses, appointments, and any contact details, notes, or photos you add. This data is stored locally on your device and, when you are signed in, backed up to your own private cloud space (Cloud Firestore, under your account only).

c. Payment information

Card payments taken through BizPilot are processed by Stripe. Card numbers and card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment sheet and are handled by Stripe — BizPilot never sees or stores full card numbers. We store only non-sensitive payment references (such as the amount and a Stripe payment identifier) alongside the related sale.

d. Camera and photos

BizPilot uses the camera to scan product barcodes and to take product or receipt photos. Photos you attach are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

e. What we do NOT collect

2. How we use information

We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

3. Third-party services

BizPilot relies on a small number of processors to provide core features:

4. Data storage and security

Your cloud data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and is protected by security rules that restrict access to your authenticated account only. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete your data at any time:

Some records held by our payment processor (Stripe) may be retained by Stripe as required by financial and tax regulations, independently of BizPilot.

6. Children's privacy

BizPilot is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
