These terms are the agreement between you and LogicStack for the use of BabyCue on iOS and Android. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use BabyCue.
The service
BabyCue is a personal record-keeping app for tracking a baby's feeding, sleep, diapers, growth and related routine, with optional reminders, pattern insights and caregiver sharing. It is available for iPhone and iPad on the Apple App Store and for Android on Google Play. These terms apply to both.
BabyCue is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Predictions and cues are estimates based on your own entries. Always talk to your pediatrician or another qualified professional about your child's health, and call emergency services in an emergency.
Your account
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher) and legally able to enter into this agreement.
You can use BabyCue as a guest without an account. A guest session is tied to that installation; if you uninstall the app or sign out before creating an account, you may lose access to its data.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done through your account.
The information you give us must be accurate, and you must keep it up to date.
One person, one account. Do not share an account; invite caregivers instead so each person signs in as themselves.
Licence
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use BabyCue on devices you own or control, for your own family's non-commercial use, and as permitted by the usage rules of the store you got it from.
We keep all rights we do not expressly grant. The app, its name, logo, design, text and code belong to LogicStack or its licensors.
Your content
Everything you log (entries, notes, photos, milestones) remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us only the licence we need to run the service: to store, back up, transmit and display your content to you and to the caregivers you invite, and to process it to produce the features you use (for example, computing a prediction from your entries).
You are responsible for the content you add, including making sure you have the right to upload any photo of another person.
When you delete content or your account, this licence ends as the content is removed. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Caregiver sharing
Inviting a caregiver gives that person access to the baby's records at the role you choose (caregiver can edit, viewer can only read).
Invite only people you trust with your child's information. We cannot control what an invited caregiver does with what they can see.
The owner of a baby profile can revoke an invitation or remove a caregiver at any time.
If you are invited to a baby you do not own, the owner controls that record and may remove your access or delete the record.
Subscriptions, trials and billing
BabyCue is free to use for its core tracking features. BabyCue Premium unlocks predictions, the Baby Day planner, advanced trends, PDF reports, Quick Log, milestone photos, additional children, extended history and smart notifications.
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
Any free trial length and price is shown before you confirm. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. If you have used a trial before, you may not be offered another.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
iOS: manage or cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Android: manage or cancel in the Google Play app > profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
Cancelling stops future renewals; Premium features stay available until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly, but tell us if something went wrong and we will help you ask for one.
Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects a renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Cancelling or letting a subscription lapse never deletes your data. Premium features simply lock; your entries stay.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use BabyCue for anything unlawful, or to harass, endanger or surveil another person.
Upload content that is illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.
Reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with or attempt to bypass the security of the app or our servers, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
Access accounts, babies or records that are not yours, or try to redeem invitation codes not meant for you.
Scrape the service, run it through automated agents at scale, or resell access to it.
Interfere with the service, for example by overloading it or getting around its limits.
Quick Log
Quick Log turns text you type or speak into a draft entry, on your device. It is a best-effort convenience and can be wrong, so always review a draft before saving it.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep BabyCue available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance.
If we discontinue the service or a major feature, we will give reasonable notice first.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BabyCue is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that predictions, cues, insights or reports are accurate or suitable for any decision about your child's health.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LogicStack is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of your use of BabyCue.
Our total liability for any claim relating to BabyCue is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for BabyCue in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. You may have statutory consumer rights that these terms do not affect.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify LogicStack against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from content you upload or from your use of BabyCue in breach of these terms.
Termination
You may stop using BabyCue at any time, and you can delete your account in the app from More > Delete account.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we are required by law to remove, or that poses a security risk. Where practical we will warn you first.
On termination your licence ends. Sections that by their nature survive (content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) continue to apply.
Additional terms for the Apple App Store
If you downloaded BabyCue from the Apple App Store, you and LogicStack also agree that:
These terms are between you and LogicStack only, not Apple. LogicStack, not Apple, is solely responsible for BabyCue and its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for BabyCue.
If BabyCue fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for BabyCue.
LogicStack, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to BabyCue or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection, privacy or similar claims.
If a third party claims that BabyCue or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, LogicStack, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You must comply with applicable third-party terms (for example, your mobile carrier) when using BabyCue.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, once you accept them, may enforce them against you.
Your use of BabyCue must also follow the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Where these terms conflict with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, these terms apply to the extent permitted.
Additional terms for Google Play
If you downloaded BabyCue from Google Play, your use of the app and any purchases are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not responsible for BabyCue or its content.
Where these terms conflict with the Google Play Terms of Service on matters between you and Google, Google's terms apply.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where LogicStack is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, or your right to bring proceedings there.
Before starting formal proceedings, please write to us. Most things are solved faster by email.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page is updated. Continuing to use BabyCue after that means you accept the new terms.
