WeatherDrobe — Support

Last updated: 15 September 2026

WeatherDrobe shows you an outfit for today's weather. It has no accounts and no sign-in, so there is nothing to reset and nothing to recover — but a few questions come up often enough to answer here.

Email kernelkrafttech@gmail.com. Say which phone you have. We reply to every message.

Is there anything to buy?

Only if you want it. Everything else in WeatherDrobe is free; the optional Premium subscription adds the 14-day outfit forecast. It is a yearly subscription with a free trial where the store offers one.

If you bought Premium and it has not unlocked, open the Premium screen (menu → Get Premium, or Settings → WeatherDrobe Premium) and tap Restore purchases; that asks the App Store or Google Play what your account already owns.

To cancel: on iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → WeatherDrobe → Cancel Subscription. On Android, go to Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → WeatherDrobe → Cancel. Cancelling is handled by Apple or Google, not by us, and deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Do I have to share my location?

No. Decline the location prompt and search for a city by name instead. You can save several places and switch between them.

Where are my outfit photos stored?

Only on your phone. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.

Where are my step counts stored?

Only on your phone. Step counting is optional; WeatherDrobe reads the phone's motion sensors (Motion & Fitness on iPhone) only after you turn it on, and never uploads your counts, your height or your weight. Turn it off any time in Settings → Preferences → Count your steps.

Deleting my data

Everything WeatherDrobe stores lives on your phone and goes with the app when you delete it. The one exception is a Premium purchase receipt, which our billing provider keeps so the purchase can be restored; email us to have it erased — note that this gives up the ability to restore it. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
