To remember your progress, the game saves a small file on your device. It contains only game information, such as:
This file never leaves your device through the app, and we cannot see or access it. Coins and items in the game are earned by playing. They have no real-money value and cannot be bought.
If you have turned on your device’s own backup service (such as iCloud Backup or Google backup), that service may include the game’s save file in your device backup. Those backups are handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, not by us.
AndroidThe app requests only the vibrate permission, used for haptic feedback during play. You can turn vibration off in the game’s settings. The app does not request internet access.
iOSThe app does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or tracking.
Apple and Google may collect information about your download and use of their app stores, and, if you have chosen to share diagnostics with them in your device settings, may provide developers with anonymous, aggregated crash and performance reports. That collection is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
Hoop Up! is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). Because the app collects no data at all, no personal information from children is collected, used or disclosed. This is consistent with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the GDPR.
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Your game save stays on your device until you remove it:
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws give you rights to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, to object to processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. Because we do not collect or hold any personal data, we have none to provide, correct, delete or sell. You can still contact us at any time with questions, and we will reply.
The app does not transmit any data, so your information is never exposed in transit or stored on our servers. Your save file is protected by your device’s own security, such as your screen lock and the operating system’s app sandbox.
If a future version of Hoop Up! adds features that handle personal data, such as online play, accounts, ads or purchases, we will update this policy before releasing that version, change the effective date above, and update the app’s Google Play Data safety section and App Store privacy details.
